Strategic Study of CAE 2013, Volume 15, Issue 6,   Pages 41-47

Abstract:

In order to ensure the sustainable development of Shanghai Port and the economical and social development of Yangtze River Delta and Yangtze River Basin, this paper proposes and demonstrates the technological possibility of the port site on Hengsha shoal, analyzes the preliminary layout of the port by the numerical simulation model, and estimates the sedimentation intensity by means of various methods. The conclusion indicates that the port site of Hengsha shoal is possible and feasible.

Strategic Study of CAE 2016, Volume 18, Issue 3,   Pages 37-42 doi: 10.15302/J-SSCAE-2016.03.006

Abstract:

In order to the concept of the ecological priorcty and green development, to transform the extensive mode of production in the past, we must vigorously carry out research and development of facilities and equipment to improve the level of equipent and technology in China. This is the only way to promote the healthy and sustainable development of Chinese aquaculture industry. This paper examines the applications of aquaculture facilities and equipment in China, the main problems in the development of aquaculture engineering, and key technologies for the improvement of aquaculture engineering application. Measures for future research and the continued development of aquaculture facilities and equipment are also proposed.

Application of subsea multiphase flow meter in the development of deepwater oil and gas fields

Liu Taiyuan,Guo Hong and Zheng Lijun

Strategic Study of CAE 2012, Volume 14, Issue 11,   Pages 69-74

Abstract:

The remarkable development of science and technology speeds up the development of the deeper oil and gas field offshore via subsea production system. In order to optimize the reservoir, the well fluid to be monitored and measured to get enough information transmitted to the topside being processed and analysis. Recent years there are more and more subsea multiphase flow meters installed and being in operation. The principles of multiphase flow measurement are introduced and other factors relevant to the measurement scope, installation location and the communication are discussed. The feasibility of cases is also presented and it is helpful for the selection of subsea multiphase flow meters installation.

Analysis of physical properties of gas hydrate-bearing unconsolidated sediment samples from the ultra-deepwater

Frontiers in Energy 2022, Volume 16, Issue 3,   Pages 509-520 doi: 10.1007/s11708-021-0786-4

Abstract: Marine natural gas hydrate has recently attracted global attention as a potential new clean energy source. Laboratory measurements of various physical properties of gas hydrate-bearing marine sediments can provide valuable information for developing efficient and safe extraction technology of natural gas hydrates. This study presents comprehensive measurement results and analysis of drilled hydrate-bearing sediments samples recovered from Qiongdongnan Basin in the South China Sea. The results show that the gas hydrate in the core samples is mainly methane hydrate with a methane content of approximately 95%, and the other components are ethane and carbon dioxide. The saturation of the samples fluctuates from 2%–60%, the porosity is approximately 38%–43%, and the water content is approximately 30%–50%, which indicate that high water saturation means that timely drainage should be paid attention to during hydrate extraction. In addition, the median diameter of the sediment samples is mainly distributed in the range of 15 to 34 μm, and attention should be paid to the prevention and control of sand production in the mining process. Moreover, the thermal conductivity is distributed in the range of 0.75 to 0.96 W/(m∙K) as measured by the flat plate heat source method. The relatively low thermal conductivity of hydrates at this study site indicates that a combined approach is encouraged for natural gas production technologies. It is also found that clay flakes and fine particles are attached to the surface of large particles in large numbers. Such characteristics will lead to insufficient permeability during the production process.
